It does tell the story quite nicely, although just a few things I didn't like about it; first was the bass spikes in the first half, which crackled and were annoying. Also ranting on the first half, it was just boring. One could argue that it represents the tedious climb to the mountain top, but it was just long and repetitive, step after step. The second half however was phenomenal, I really don't see anything I would have changed in it.

So, 5/5 9/10 because of the first part.

Although Krayon is right about killing being terrible, war and fighting is glorified all the time, and no one gives a shit.

Anyways, great song. The strings mixed very well, and the velocity felt perfect at every step. My only complaint is that the panning of the different instruments is a bit annoying when I'm wearing my headphones, so if you could blend it together a bit more, that would be great.

The melodies are great, but some of the notes sound as if they choke (on purpose?) this ruins the melody and makes it sound sort of meh..

But for the most part, it was fine, and almost sounds like some of the off pitch parts are on purpose.
